Privacy Policy
Tule Welding is a metal fabrication and welding shop in Tulare, California. This page explains what happens to your information when you use tulewelding.com. It is short because we collect very little.
What we collect
The quote form. When you send us the Request a Quote form on our contact page, we receive your name, phone number, email address, the type of project, and whatever you write in the message. Our form software also records the IP address and the time the form was submitted, which is how we filter out spam.
Server logs. Our web host keeps standard access logs, the way nearly every website does: IP address, browser type, which pages were requested and when. We only look at them when something on the site is broken.
That is the whole list. There are no analytics or advertising trackers on this site, no user accounts, no newsletter and no online store.
How we use it
We use what you send to answer your question, quote your job and follow up about the work. Nothing else.
We do not sell your information, we do not trade or rent it, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
How long we keep it
Quote requests stay in our email and in this website’s database so we have a record of the job. If you would rather we did not keep yours, email or call and we will delete it.
Cookies and outside services
We set no advertising or analytics cookies. The site’s caching software may set a technical cookie so pages load faster; it does not identify you.
Two outside companies are involved in running the site:
- Hostinger hosts the website and its server logs.
- Google Maps provides the map embedded on our contact page. When that map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy rather than ours. It is the only thing on this site loaded from somewhere else. The photographs, the videos and the fonts are all served from our own server.
Your choices
Call (559) 343-2588 or email TuleWelding@Gmail.com to ask what we have on file, correct it, or have it deleted, and we will take care of it. California residents have those rights under state law; we extend them to anyone who asks.
Children
This site is for people hiring a welding shop. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If any of this changes, we will update this page along with the date at the top.
